Peugeot 308: Organisation bulletin : Servicing schedule for EB Turbo and EP Turbo engines (For CEEC countries)

This bulletin sets the type of servicing to be selected for turbo petrol engines in a limited number of countries in Europe.

The presentation of this bulletin and its distribution are to be carried out in each dealership of the Network of the affected countries by the manager of each department :

• New vehicle sales : The sales manager must present this bulletin to all new vehicle sales staff and give them a copy
• Service : The service manager must present this bulletin to all service staff and give them a copy

1. Scope of application of the bulletin and context

The bulletin concerns only the following countries : .

Bosnia- Herzegovina / Bulgaria / Croatia / Estonia / Hungary / Latvia / Lithuania / Macedonia / Poland / Czech Republic / Roumania / Slovenia / Slovakia.

N.B. : Although they comply with the European standard, some of the fuels available in these countries have characteristics which could favour pre-ignition at low engine speeds and heavy load (rumble).

The bulletin does not concern the following engines :

• EB naturally aspirated
• Diesel

In order to offer our customers power trains which fulfil our objectives of quality and durability (ageing of the oil, clogging and rumble), the servicing schedules for the countries of the CEEC zone and for the turbo petrol engines below must follow the "Europe arduous" servicing schedule :

• Maximum service interval of 15 000 km/1 year(s) for the EB Turbo engines
• Maximum service interval of 20 000 km/1 year(s) for the EP Turbo engines

2. Operations to be carried out

In this context, please apply for the new vehicles sold, from the time this bulletin is received, the following operations : .

2.1. During new vehicle preparation

2.2. On delivery of the new vehicle

Connect to the manufacturer’s aftersales documentation portal.
