Peugeot 308: Removing - refitting : Oil filter of the hybrid double-clutch piloted manual gearbox

ESSENTIAL : Observe the safety and cleanliness recommendations .

ESSENTIAL : All personnel carrying out work on a vehicle fitted with traction batteries must have received specific electric vehicle training and be authorised to work on these vehicles(observe the regulations in force in the respective country).

1. Replacement of parts in all cases

2. Preliminary operations

Put the vehicle on a lift.

CAUTION : Perform the operations that are required prior to a disconnection of the ancillaries battery .

CAUTION : In the case of a vehicle with 2 batteries, carry out the specific operations for disconnecting and reconnecting the ancillaries batteries.

Disconnect the ancillaries battery or batteries (According to equipment).

Drain the hybrid double-clutch piloted manual gearbox .

Remove :

• The front left-hand wheel
• The front left-hand mud guard

3. Removing

Disconnect the connector (at "a").

Disconnect the connector (at "b").

Unclip the electrical harness  (at "c").

Remove :

• The 4 bolts (2)
• The hybrid double-clutch piloted manual gearbox ECU (1)

Remove :

• The 4 bolts (6)
• The casing (5)
• The hybrid double-clutch piloted manual gearbox oil filter (3)
• The O-rings (4), (7)

4. Refitting

CAUTION : Observe the tightening torques.

EDCT TYPE GEARBOX 6 SPEED AND HYBRID 6-SPEED PILOTED MANUAL GEARBOX

Tightening torques :

• Hybrid double-clutch piloted manual gearbox
• Wheels

Refit :

• The new O-rings (4), (7)
• The new hybrid double-clutch piloted manual gearbox oil filter (3)
• The casing (5)
• The 4 bolts (6)
• The hybrid double-clutch piloted manual gearbox ECU (1)
• The 4 bolts (2)

Clip the electrical harness  (at "c").

Reconnect :

• The connector (at "b")
• The connector (at "a")

5. Additional operations

CAUTION : Perform the operations that are required after reconnecting the ancillaries battery .

CAUTION : In the case of a vehicle with 2 batteries, carry out the specific operations for disconnecting and reconnecting the ancillaries batteries.

Reconnect the ancillaries battery .

Refit :

• The front left-hand mud guard
• The front left-hand wheel

Fill and top up the oil in the hybrid double-clutch piloted manual gearbox .

Return the vehicle to its wheels.
