4. Preliminary operations
CAUTION : Perform the operations that are required prior to a disconnection of the ancillaries battery

CAUTION : In the case of a vehicle with 2 batteries, carry out the specific operations for disconnecting and reconnecting the ancillaries batteries.
Disconnect the ancillaries battery or batteries(depending on equipment).
Remove the interior mirror

5. Removing
CAUTION : Protect the contact cushion of the rain/sunlight bi-sensor with a transparent adhesive strip ; Store the rain/sunlight bi-sensor in an envelope.

6. Refitting
N.B. : Do not systematically replace this type of sensor after each removal.
6.1. Retrieved part
CAUTION : Ensure that the support and the brightness sensor and rain sensor assembly are free of impurities on refitting . In order for the system to function, it is essential to keep both the windscreen and the rain/sunlight bi-sensor clean.
CAUTION : Do not touch the surface of the coupling face with your fingers or with any object . Chemical detergents are not authorised.
N.B. : Clean the windscreen and the inside of the base of all dirt, bonding residue and other particles; using a non-fluffy paper towel and glass detergent.
Refit the dual function rain and brightness sensor Using a rain sensor gel(index "B19") 
 .
Proceed in the reverse order to removal.
6.2. New part
