2. Information on carrying out the procedure
The procedure requires the following operations to be carried out in the correct order :

CAUTION : Failure to do so will result in the failure of the operation and the immobilisation of the vehicle.
3.1. Instructions related to the vehicle
Park the vehicle outside for optimum 4G signal reception.
Do not switch off the internal combustion engine during the operation, except where requested.
Do not move the vehicle once the repair has started.
Do not connect the DIAGBOX diagnostic tool if not requested to do so.
For hybrid vehicles, disconnect the charging cable from the charging socket unit.
The new vehicle preparation must be carried out.
If the vehicle is equipped with keyless entry and starting, place the hands-free identifier in the electronic key reader or in the central storage compartment.
CAUTION : During vehicle update procedures, a Wi-Fi connection may be requested even if the 4G network connection is active. In this case, wait a few minutes for the vehicle to switch back to the 4G network connection.

4.2. Activation of the vehicle’s Wi-Fi connection
CAUTION : If the vehicle is equipped with keyless entry and starting, place the hands-free identifier in the electronic key reader or in the central storage compartment.
If the 4G network coverage is not available, connect to the Wi-Fi via the multifunction screen.
N.B. : If unable to connect to the Wi-Fi WLANPSAR access point, refer to Item no. 34372 available in iSOLVE.
N.B. : The multifunction screen may be configured differently depending on the customer’s preferences.

5.1. Retrieval of the update
CAUTION : During vehicle update procedures, a Wi-Fi connection may be requested even if the 4G network connection is active. In this case, wait 3 minutes for the vehicle to switch back to the 4G network connection.
CAUTION : Leave the engine running throughout the procedure to avoid going into economy mode : Switching to ECO mode during the procedure renders the IVI audio-navigation system/IVI connected audio system permanently unusable.
CAUTION : If the vehicle is equipped with keyless entry and starting, place the hands-free identifier in the electronic key reader or in the central storage compartment.

6. Download and installation of the IVI audio-navigation system/IVI connected audio system updates with the diagnostic tool
6.1. Switching of the vehicle to dormant mode
Switch off the ignition.
Close the doors and windows, lock the vehicle, move the hands-free identifier away from the vehicle and wait 5 minutes for the vehicle to become dormant.
