Peugeot 308: Dismantling : Reduction gear

ESSENTIAL : Safety and cleanliness recommendations .

ESSENTIAL : All personnel carrying out work on a vehicle fitted with traction batteries must have received specific electric vehicle training and be authorised to work on these vehicles(observe the regulations in force in the respective country).

Remove :

• The 3 bolts (1)
• The torque reaction rod support (2)

Uncouple the breather pipe (3)(at "a").

Remove :

• The 16 bolts (4)
• The casing (5)

Remove :

• The differential (6)
• The input shaft (7) and output shaft (8) assembly

Remove :

• The centralising pins (9)
• The output shaft (8) bearing cup (10)
• The differential (6) bearing cup (11)

Remove :

• The differential (6) bearing cup (13)
• The output shaft (8) bearing cup (14)
• The adjusting shims (12)

Remove :

• The bolt (15)
• The oil filler neck (16)
• The 3 bolts (17)
• The park finger locking actuator ‎ (18)

Remove :

• The oil seal ( 19)
• The 2 bolts (20)
• The park finger locking mechanism (21)

Remove the lip seals ( 22).
